Success stories: Spotlight on a talent
Nicolas played a crucial role in the series selection process for Cannes Series, where “This is not Sweden” was presented. Aina Clotet brilliantly won the female performance award for her role in the series. His talent was recognized thanks to the careful selection made by Nicolas when he submitted the series to the selection committee. His strategic decision allowed Aina and the series to shine on the prestigious stage of Cannes Series.
The collection is a program of 5 short films produced by Yukunkun in partnership with CNSAD-PSL and SACEM. At the origin of this collection is the common desire of Nelson Ghrénassia (producer at Yukunkun), Claire Lasne Darcueil (director of the CNSAD) and Nicolas Derouet (casting director) to bring together experienced directors in the world of short films and on the verge of shooting their first feature films, and the young actresses and actors of the CNSAD class of 2022.
Produced between two confinements, this collection viscerally testifies to the urgency of creating and representing a little of what youth is today. Mathilde Chavanne, Clémence Poésy, Aurélie Reinhorn, Florent Gouëlou and Pierre Giafferi have thus produced 5 particularly singular and free films, imbued with production constraints and those of the time, which will make their world premiere at the Champs-Élysées Film Festival 2021, in presence of CNSAD teams and student actors.
